Now hes NAPING in the day..

Iv thought hes been dehydrated and now when i went to feed him he was asleep. They dont nap do they? Iv never seen any of my vaileds in the past nap. Thus guys a panther, I woke him up and he ate about 10 crickets. He also went to bed a bout an hour b4 lights out last night.. He gets misted 3 times a day. has a great diet. His temps are spot on.......Grrrr...

Maybe a shower will help because he should not be sleeping during the day. Or horn worms can help him hydrate too

sometimes they will get ready to sleep before the lights go out. That does not mean anything is wrong. If he is sleeping during the middle of the day, then that is a different story. Why do you think he is dehydrated? Also, if it is indeed close to his bed time, then I would not wake him up and feed him. Just let him be. As a rule we try and feed in the earlier hours so they can bask and digest their food.

it was at 5 when i woke him up and fed him. ill post a pic of him. I think hes dehydrated because his poopp was brown and orange. thank you guys for the help.

well today i saw him take a big long drink and ate really good. He too a good black & withe poop and didnt nap all day! Maybe it was just stress related from moving him to a new home. Thank you guys so much!!!
