I just ran into a lady that has a 25 yr leopard Geeko. I kid you not. 25 YEARS old. Should I demand her reptile secrets?!

I had several leos that were 19 when I let them go to a friend of mine because I couldn't look after them when I went for surgery.
My prehensile tailed anole lived for over 13 years...no idea if that's long or not.
Lots of my veiled females make it past 7.
I've been keeping/breeding lizards and turtles/tortoises for almost 30 years now. At one time I had over 100 in my house not counting babies. You know all I did all week? Cleaned cages, watered, fed them all. I don't know how I did it. I must have been crazy!!. (The other name I post under is chameleoncrazy....but that doesn't cover it all!)
I lived in the country until I was 9 and went to sleep listening to crickets and frogs every night in the warm weather.missed it when we moved into a town. Then I got to sleep with streetlights on and trucks driving/roaring down the highway.
CharlirCharming...that's quite a list!
I had several species of skinks and Parsons and lots of others. but stayed away from monitors because of their size.had to stay away from furry critters because of my daughter. Besides chameleons some of my favorite lizards were the leaftailed geckos, cone heads, forest chameleons/helmeted iguanas.
Getting whipped by a big Iggie tail hurts and can cut you too. Their claws are wicked and their teeth are like razors. I had 5 stitches from one but it didn't bite me. I got whipped a few times too.
I've had beardies, water dragons, many gecko and chameleon species, cone heads, helmeted iguanas (aka forest chameleons), green iguanas, several species of uromastyx, a monkey tailed skink, glass lizard, several species of turtles,/tortoises, waxy monkey tree frog, etc.
