I posted a pic about 2 weeks ago and people said it was a burn. searched what to do so I put this cream on it and woke up today and noticed he had blood on his crest

It started to get better and then this happened thought it was a cricket bite but idk

As the burned dead tissue starts sloughing or breaking away the raw edges of the remaining live tissue may bleed. He might have bumped it on something while climbing around. The antibiotic cream will help prevent infection, but if it continues to bleed and you see the area swelling, you may need help from a vet.

Creams usually recommended for burns are flamazine or silver sulfadene. These are creams that are more specific for burns.

My only concern would be how do you still use a heat lamp with a burn like he has since heat will make a burn hurt more and probably not heal well....
