Not sure what this is, looks like a sore?

Hi guys, just noticed this weird bump today on my panther chameleon. Doesn't look right, was wondering if anyone knows what this is and the best steps to treat it?

I've turned down my mister, cause it's been some humid days lately. Worried that might be it.

It could be papilloma--it doesn't look like stuck shed imo. You can try to brush it off gently with a wet q-tip. If it doesn't come off, a vet is your best bet so they can do a biopsy and proper treatment can occur. There are a lot of threads already posted about papilloma. Here's a couple of threads:

It does look a bit like a papilloma. Your vet would need to remove it and send it out for biopsy to be sure. Removal is the treatment and while there is no cure, it is not a life threatening problem. One of my chams had what may have been one (biopsy wasn’t clear) and once removed, it hasn’t grown back.
Another thing that it could be is a bite from a cricket. If you feed crickets, one may get missed and would bite your cham. Is always a good idea to leave a bit of greens or carrot slice in your enclosure if you feed crickets.
