Hi I have a chameleon named franklin I believe he is around 9 months old. I believe he is stressed out but I can’t tell. He has a large cage and has plants of plants to hangout and use to hide. I was wondering through a couple of pictures if y’all might be able to let me know if he is looking ok to you?

Hello! It looks like you have a lot of foliage in there; which is great! Just make sure all fake plants are taken out as veileds like to eat foliage. What type of lighting do you have? do you have a UVB, basking? Also, what does his diet consist of?

And I have u uvb 10 because he has plenty of places to hide and chill and i have temp and a humidity gage I also have a heat lamp and a listing system he eats wax worms crickets and sometimes horn worms. He also eats some of the plants in his cage.

Okay, what type of UVB? Do you have a compact bulb or a linear? It should say on the bulb t8 or t5 if you have a linear. Waxworms are only as treats, so feed them every now and then.

. I’m pretty sure it’s a t8 and I think a liner

Baby is stressed. Probably feels quite exposed.

I do want to double check your uvb type and distances. This is very important. Can you look at the fixture and tell me what it is? It should say T8 Or T5HO. I also need to know what the bulb has written on it. if it says 5.0 or 10.0.
It’s said 10.0 and is a t8

Ok so then you want the branch to be about 5-7 inches below the fixture no farther then that.

Per the vines they are lovely but not safe for your little dude. Moss is an impaction risk. The ladder is another thing we do not use with chams. They can get their nails caught up in them.
I love that you got the Dragon Strand enclosure. They are awesome I have three of them. But here are some links to help you utilize the enclosure that your guy will appreciate.
