Not enough uvb?

Lately spike has been trying to climb on top screen underneath the uvb light he does this a lot is this just how he gets his uvb or is because hes not getting enough i have a repta-sun 5.0 right now i ordered a repti-sun 5.0 though i know there better

Hes plenty warm enough its like he does it just for fun

Reptar did it for 2 or 3 days when he started shedding and then he stopped doing it. I wouldnt worry too much yet

My veiled does that more when he's in slough too. Leads me to beleive that Uv plays a part in the process that we dont yet fully understand, or that I dont yet fully understand.
P.S its specifically positioning himself beneath the Uv lighting where the heat from the basking light is not direct that Im referring to. (although ambient air temp there will ofcourse be warmer, but the prefrence seems distinctive.)
