the temperature is a little under 70 degrees and humidity is 55%, and from what i've read it's supposed to be 70-80 degrees with 65-80% humidity. how can i make it warmer? i want to get the enclosure and lighting right before i get my chameleon. i'm using a exo terra daytime heat lamp bulb with 60W btw.

What species of chameleon are you getting and what gender?

Can you take a picture of your enclosure including the lighting so we can see?

i’m going to get a male veiled chameleon, i think he will be 3-4 months old. here’s my cage ( i will be adding more branches soon)

Okay, so the fake plants and water bowl need to be taken out, as well as adding much more stuff to the cage. I would recommend filling out the ask for help form in as much detail as possible! Here are some great links and images to read through (make sure to read through every module and the veiled species profile, as well as listening to as many podcasts as possible, from The Chameleon Academy, as they have the most accurate and up-to-date info!):

i live on the coast of north carolina and it normally doesn’t get this cold but it’s pretty chilly. yes we have air conditioning, but do you think i could buy a dual lamp fixture and use two heating bulbs? when it gets warmer, like spring time, i can take one out.
