Your Chameleon - Veiled female approx. 1 year old. I have had her for about 2months.
Handling - None. I feel it stresses her.
Feeding - Crickets. Free Range 10 a day.
Supplements - Not sure of the brand (I threw the package away). It is a calcium dust and I dust every cricket.
Watering - I mist her several times a day. I have never actually saw her drink.
Fecal Description -Brown pellets.
History - I have none. I bought her from a petstore and they said they had her since she was a baby. She was housed in a glass cage with a male.

Cage Info:
Cage Type - Screen
Lighting - I have two lights on the top of the cage. One stays on all the time and the other goes off at night. I believe the pet store gave me basking lamps.
Temperature - I have two thermometers in there and they are usually around 80.
Humidity - I have been trying to figure this one out for awhile. Since she is in a screened cage, I wasnt sure how to control the humidity. Any info and links on what to purchase would be great!
Plants - One live, Bonsai
Placement - The cage is located by the front door on a floor cabinet. It is not close to a vent.
Location - Southwest Florida

Current Problem - She has not ate in about 4 days. There are still live crickets hopping around. Her color is a bright green but she has these dark spots on her which did get lighter today. Over the weekend she was climbing all over the cage (going from top to bottom). Now she seems to have calmed down and has wrapped her self in an artificial plant and is sleeping. I did pick her up and feel her abdomen but couldnt feel any eggs.

it sounds like she might want to lay eggs.If she was housed with a male she may have fertile eggs. Do you have a laying bin in the cage for her? There are alot of things that you have left to the imagination here such as the lighting. We need to know what kind of lighting you are using. This is very important to the health of your chameleon as are the supplements. How could you throw the package away? meaning the supplements usually come in jars where you shake out the supplement. She will need three supplements-Calcium with out d3 at every feeding(you should be feeding every other day) Calcium with d3 twice a month or so and also a multi vitamin twice a month. Unfortunately you bought her from a pet store and alot of times they do not know about proper care, such as lighting and supplementation. Can you post some pics of her please. Also you said you are using a bonsai plant? They are awfully small and not sure if they are toxic. Besides misting you need to get a dripper going in the cage for extra hydration. Does her poop have white on the end of it? That is the urate(pee) it should be white. If if it orangish she needs more hydration. Also if she is not eating the crickets then remove them at night. They might bite her while she is sleeping. No lights at night! They need complete darkness to sleep. What is your basking temp under the basking light? Also how large is your cage. She is an adult and you need something large like a 24 X 24 X 48 or a little smaller.
