Not eating.

This is my male veiled chameleon named Newton, he's around 3-5 months and for whatever reason the past week or so he hasn't been eating and it appears he hasn't been drinking. Im not sure if his eyes look sunken in or if im being paranoid. He's been fine the past month I've had him, however this past week he has had no interest in eating.

What are the basking temperatures and other temperatures in his cage? Have they changed lately?

It's generally been around 90-92 in his basking spots and down to the low 70's the furthest point. I've been receiving a.cold front and his cage is near a window however I've only seen the temperature drop a total of 4 degrees at its lowest.

I would move the cage away from the window. The chameleon can end up with a respiratory infection if the cage is near the window in a cold climate.

Does anything to be appear to be wrong with his eyes? Are they slightly sunken or am I just being paranoid

I think the eyes may be sinking in just a little!e. Are it's urates white or yellowish? Is it wheezing at all? Breathing with it's mouth open at all?

I’m sorry to hear that little Newton is not feeling well. Has he had a fecal lately? Parasite will cause them to stop eating especially cociddia. It might alas be time for a vet check by a vet with chameleon experience.

I agree with @kinyong about the eyes. Nothing too severe, but I think they are slightly sunken. My veiled got dehydrated once, but it was much worse than your little guy. If you are worried, you can try what I did. I took a syringe and dripped water on her nose until she started to sip at it. Once she drank, she perked up and I continued to water her from the syringe for about a week, and after that she was as good as new. Hope this helps, and usually I learn more as I go.

Just in case he is dehydrated...have you tried positioning a dripper on the top of the screen strategically over your chams head so that the drops roll down his head toward his mouth, at the rate of just one drop at a time? I used to water stalk my cham when she seemed dehydrated and could almost always get her to drink if it was just dripping at rate of about one drop per second. Otherwise, leave a dripper going at that rate in a place where the water is easy to access (dripping onto leaves or dripping from screen top that he can reach underneath). I just used a plastic party cup and punctured the base with a tiny needle til the hole was the correct size to drip at that rate.

I just got the dripper today Nd set it up She sleeping now I'm deffinetly going to try that tomorrow. I was also reading that I can use a syringe and try to put little drops on her mouth.
