Not Eating?

So my 5 month old female veiled is not eating. She is currently gravid and she has plenty of places to hide. For some reason ever since i have had her she wont eat. She has been overly shy. Her previous owner said she loved eating and that she wasn't shy. Does anyone have any idea on what to do? I have been using Laurie's bug juice, but she wont ever open her mouth and when she does its just because she is hissing.

I do not want her to die from the lack of food while trying to produce fertile eggs. Some one please help.

what are u feeding her? maybe shes not liking the food choice and the previous owner was feeding different insects than u

If she is gravid, not eating is a sign that she is ready to lay. They are usually ravenous until they are about to lay, then they won't eat at all for a day or two (sometimes more) prior to laying. Get her a good, deep laying bin and put a towel over the front of her cage. You will know when she has layed because she will most likely be covered in sand/dirt and she will appear much thinner. Then she will be starving.

i would say the same if not than its just the food

She has only been gravid for a little over a week. I offer division supers crickets and even horned worms. She has been at the lower half of her cage but I didn't think they could lay a week after mating?
