Hello!
I have a panther cham who is about 8 months old and is deciding to eat either like 1 or nothing lately and staying pretty low. Mind you, I do work a lot so I'm not actively watching him so take what I say with a grain of salt.
Lately though when i come home, I notice roaches not in feeder and think, "oh! He ate them okay" but on further inspection, the roaches just got out of the feeder again and he didn't at all. This has happened for about 2 days. Now, for him staying below, I'm not talking about him going to the bottom of the cage, just more so under leaves and staying in that spot for a couple hours. I was off yesterday so I got to really watch him and yup. He pretty much stayed there- for most of the day.
As for his feedings, I've been doing 3-6 every other day, with some 2 feeders in between in case he didn't finish them all or the feeders escaped(I would also like maybe some advice on better feeders to prevent escaping because its really annoying to catch/kill discord roaches)
He has been drinking water and I do set his mister off an hour before his lights turn off and in the morning (and I hand mist as well from time to time to just double check).
Jax normally is pretty active so this kinda- made me worried but if you know me, when I first got him this kinda thing happened. Minimal eating, staying low and stuff. Turns out he was just shedding! But this is kinda been off and on for about a week now so I wanna make sure.
