Not eating... reason?

So Leo hasn't eaten yet, but I think it is because he is starting to shed. He has broken skin on his casque and some showing up on his body so i'm sure he must not be comfortable, he is brown and green. I put him to bed for the night so we'll see what tomorrow brings. I have misted him numerous times today so I hope that helps.

The day before Shooter was about to shed his appetite was WAY off. He normally eats about a dozen 1/4" - 1/2" crickets and 2-3 phoenix worms a day. I think the day before he shed he wasn't even eating half of that. As soon as he finished shedding he went right back to being a complete pig. He actually waits by his feeding cup!!!

Its not uncommon for them to eat less or not at all just before and during a shed. Also, do I remember rightly that your chameleon is in a new cage? that can put them off eating for a bit while they adjust.

Yes he is new to me and is new to his cage. I had him free ranging for a couple days before his cage was finished and he wasn't eating then either. I tried a dubia roach in his feeding cup so I hope that may be more enticing.
