Not eating much

My chameleon is only eating tow or three roaches/superworms every other day. He seems OK though, just don't want him going without. Also I still can't quite get supplementing right. It seems no matter how much or little I dust he has the white crust coming out of his nose. I now dust his food two or three times a week with nutrabol.

Cage Info:

* Cage Type - Describe your cage (Glass, Screen, Combo?) What are the dimensions?
* Lighting - What brand, model, and types of lighting are you using? What is your daily lighting schedule?
* Temperature - What temp range have you created (cage floor to basking spot)? Lowest overnight temp? How do you measure these temps?
* Humidity - What are your humidity levels? How are you creating and maintaining these levels? What do you use to measure humidity?
* Plants - Are you using live plants? If so, what kind?
* Placement - Where is your cage located? Is it near any fans, air vents, or high traffic areas? At what height is the top of the cage relative to your room floor?
* Location - Where are you geographically located?

Chameleon Info:

* Your Chameleon - 10 month old Veiled, had him for 7 months
* Handling - Rarely, once a week at the most
* Feeding - Roaches/superworms, I offer him 5 a day, someties every other day. Gutloaded with a mix I buy from the roach breeder and various fruits.
* Supplements - Nutrabol 2 or 3 times a week, my chams breeder has this schedule and he hasn't had any problems
* Watering - Mist two or three times a day with a hand spray. I just mist until all the leaves are soaked. I see him drink the drops from the leaves.
* Fecal Description - Black small sausage shape. urates mostly white with a tinge of yellow.
* Current Problem - Not sure if he's eating enough food and nutrition

The amount he is eating is pretty normal for an adult. Offering 5 large pray items a day is too much.

The crust isn't just from supplements. It can also be caused by high sodium or mineral content in your water. Use RO water, and if it's still a problem then you are probably over supplementing.

edit: You are not misting enough. If you were the Urates should be solid white. No orange or yellow coloration at all. Just increase the amount of time you spend actually misting, and add a dripper.

I read that some yellow is pretty much unavoidable, it really is only a tiny amount of yellow at the the tip. Thanks for your reply though.

It's completely avoidable. None of my guys ever have any color to their urates. Saying it's unavoidable is like saying it's impossible for you to ever have clear urine. This is just not the case.

If you say so.
