Not Eating/Drinking

I was contemplating getting mine from FL chams and amazing blue reptiles. I ended up getting one from Amazing blue reptiles because the Father was sooooo pretty.

Do you gutload? Or suppliment, cause that'd be the only other necessary thing.

I've never had that problem with the sap in my 7 or so years, but thats just me and my plant. I've brought it back to life like 3 times, so I figure it owes me something

Another thing to look into is a varitey of feeders. Makes life exciting, and healthier. Also, growing feeders is uber easy. Once you get tired of buying them of course. My mom made me start breeding things. haha.

I have nothing but great things to say about FL Chameleons. They gave me some awesome deals on all the stuff I bought from them, and Michael has been incredibly helpful with all of my questions about the animal. I supplement, but i'll probably end up gutloading. I've heard that they love grasshoppers, silkworms, and even sub-adult praying mantises (I have no idea what the plural form of that should be). I don't have a lot of experience with non-desert plants, so right now everything I know about plants for the chameleon is all second hand. So far I personally like the look of the umbrella plant over the ficus, but I probably wont make my final decision until I actually go to get something.

Regardless of if you supplement, gutloading is good and adds nutrition. Also, if you can stand the sight of them, cockroaches are good feeders.

It also helps to bring a list of some plants you'd consider to the place you're gonna buy them from. Make sure to ask if they use fertilizers and the soil they use. Though, most likely, you'll have to re-pot/plant them and give them a good soapy rinse.

He's a cute little guy! Your reptisun 5.0 tube UVB light and the correct supplements (calcium without D3, Calcium with d3 and a multi vit.) are going to get the most important things you do to keep your cham healthy. To make him happy in his cage you need to add a live plant, some vines and branches.
