yesterday i lost my green and black poison dart frog which is weird cause he was doing great i thought and i come home and hes floatin on his side in the water dead. i dont no y i dont hav luck with frogs but i just never really do but i really like them also so its kinda makin me angry. he was eatin and hoppin around and stuff and looked healthy so its just a mystery to me. o well im sure ill hav success with them at some point.

Hmm, who knows? I'd guess that just like chameleons the frogs try to hide any sign of illness as long as possible so it coulda been anything. Interestingly, the pdf tadpoles develop their front legs inside a pouch and then the legs suddenly pop out and emerge fully formed. I was told that as soon as the front legs pop, the tads must be removed from their 12oz plastic cups because they can drown.
