Out of the panthers , do some have more aggression than others? I'm looking to get one in the future since I getting out of reef keeping, I have wanted one for sometime so I guess now would be a good time. I know they mainly come from the same place , but are the " northern" one more aggressive than the " southern " ones.... Or is it all by chance .. Or training.??

Yeah I figured they all have different personalities just like anything else, but do some seem to have more aggression naturally than others.

Different species do.. for example, veileds are known to be more aggressive. Panthers are somewhat mellow, but you do get the really angry ones. No correlation with locale though.

I'm sure there is a difference in whether a panther is wild caught or captive bred too! It is generally a better idea to stick with the CB if you want a "tamer" cham. You can't necessarily 'train' a cham but you can work with one to develop a trust. I have noticed that feeding good worms and treats by hand are a good way to gain that trust.

If you want a calmer animal, your best bet would be to buy an adult animal that has already shown a tendency for calmness. With babies, you have no idea how they will turn out and they often change dispositions after maturing.

Pshh is right, this would be your best bet. Just know the more handling you do with most chameleons the more it stresses them out and if they are stressed a lot it could cause health issues. These really aren't reptiles you get to hold and or "play" with. Adult bearded dragons are probably the most social and at ease reptiles there are. I also don't want to scare you away from chams they are great animals and very fulfilling to raise. Just wanted to give you a little extra insight.

No don't worrie about it , takes alot to scare me off especially when I want to do it. Just trying to find out some info before jumping in with two feet.
