non fertile eggs

my girl Cleo

Our girl laid eggs last night for the first time, she is still very busy covering and packing them. I was wondering when and if I should remove them from her? Breaks my heart to see all of her hard work knowing the eggs are not fertile...

Only when she comes out, remove the eggs.Don't interrupt her. When you see she is climbing up, give her a nice long misting, she is probably exhausted and thirsty. Give her a little treat after and a lot of food in the morning when you usually feed her! Congratulation for the successfully egg laying! :)

Well she finally climbed out... She's pretty tied and a little shaky but all in all I think she did an amazing job for her first time! BTW, there were 53 eggs! Wow! I'd be exhausted too!
