noise NoIsE NOISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel your pain. I currently have a lot of crickets with wings lol and will make sure some are fed off tomorrow as it is feeding day tomorrow. They always stay in the garage or in the other room but never ever in my room. I will wake up in the middle of the night and kill them if they really get to me.;l

Every few weeks I get an annoying one that insists on getting extremely loud at night. It seems the only cage I get the loud ones in is my 260 gallon reptarium. They seem to get out of the feed cup and then it's like a needle in a haystack. I'll stand in the dark in front of the cage at 2 or 3 in the morning with a flashlight. When its chirping I turn the flashlight on real quick and shine it to the area of the sound and try to get him. If I get him I open the window and fling it outside. Then I go back to bed thinking about how dumb I looked doing that.

I just don't hear them anymore... I keep so many crickets its like camping.... every night.

The sound of screaming meat

It is only the males that chirp. They are the ones without the ovipositor. Use camel aka cave crickets and or cockroaches to avoid noise. Also if a lone male is isolated they tend to chirp more looking for company.

i usually get too fed up..........i use the good ol' SEARCH AND DESTROY method for these little mothers, theres really nothing else you can do. at least after all the torment they cause me i get to smile while they get chewed up by my bro's bearded dragon or get smashed by my foot.

is it wierd that i have a tank of crickets and they dont make a sound? i feed them and thats about it. they are also supplied with some cardboard
