No urate attached!

Today, for the first time in almost 2 months, i noticed a tiny poo without any urate attached. It definitely wasn't his normal shaped poo just a small piece! Hammy rarely drinks for me although his vivarium is well misted around 5 times a day. He'll take a tiny bottle of water from me, only now and again. I'm buying silkworms soon, as a way of helping him not to become dehydrated.

Any thoughts on the above would be much appreciated folks.

You can have urate with out poop. You can have poop without urate. During the winter when they are not eating much, i get more urates only.

You only have to worry when you are getting like 4-5 orange urates in a row. If you get a few oranges a month you are fine.

Next up you will be wondering why you are getting runny urate with the silkies :)
