No amount of planning...

Could have made this as perfect as it is! I found a work table that was exactly 31" from the inside lip for this enclosure to fit into. I cut the legs off the table and now this thing will stand at 89" or just shy of 7 1/2 feet! Draining problem solved! Check out the photos! :D

This going to be an indoor or outdoor enclosure?

I ask cause if its indoor... goto lowes and by some acrylic, silicone II and a cheap plastic sink drain.

Put that acrylic in the bottom. Drill a hole out and use a hair dryer and heat that acrylic up and press down on the hole with something like a baseball... or anything round. And it will cause the acrylic to bow down in the center.

Put the drain in you bought at lowes and BAM! 1 drain created and you could then drain to 5 gal bucket or plumb it to drain out of the house.

Great suggestion! This will be kept indoors, in my office at my warehouse. The ceiling is 7'10". I just had to take another 5" off of the legs because I didn't account for the light fixture and raindome! D'oh!! Now I have less than 12" to work with under the cage!

If you only have that amount of space underneath the enclosure then I woul recommend a 5-8 gallon shallow Rubbermaid bin as they make ones that go underneath beads that would work perfectly for what your proposing to do I think they are all sold anywhere rubbermaid is sold lowes, home depot, Walmart, etc.

Good luck though that cage looks beautiful :)

Thank you! Yes, I can find shallower bins to slide up under there and still be ok. I may do the acrylic/drain idea someday... :)
