Night time temps

So in preparation for my cham I decided I should get a thermometer and kind of see about how hot my room gets during the day and at night.

I was curious, is it BAD if it doesnt get much lower than like 70, do they NEED sub 70 for sleeping? If so, what do you suggest I do?

Its summer and my house is a bit warm, so I'm sure during winter I will be scrambling here to ask what to do because its so cold or something to that effect.

I just wanted to see what to do about it before I got one. I don't recall it saying it would be harmful anywhere. BTW, I am likely going to get a jacksons so you kind of know what temp it does good in.

Thanks everyone!

No, it is ok. My house is 73 at night with the AC on and that is my cage temp. My chameleon is fine. I have a panther but I am pretty certain that is an ok night temp for them.

Yea I ac is on and my cage doesn't go below 73/74 and my lil guy is doing fine. The only things I am still experimenting wil is feeding methods. Somedays I feel like he like cup feeding better when other days he would rather just have the cross lose in his cage. It's a work in progress still.
