Night night Lil Squirt

He fell asleep on his ficus tree while gazing out of the window. I didn't have the heart to move him into his enclosure, so I put a warming lamp near him and let him sleep. He looks so content and I hope he has really sweet dreams tonight

It probably gets down to 70....will he still be cold then? Poor little guy, he's probably burning up while he's trying to sleep

He will be fine without heat. Lil Squirt is so adorable. Love seeing all the pictures of him. Lil Louie's enclosure is in our bedroom and we run a ceiling fan at night and he is doing wonderful.

Thank you!! I will not use the heat lamp until winter I wish we could put Lil Squirt in our bedroom, but his little home is so big. He has grown so much in the last few months...it's hard to believe that he is only 5 months old...he's going to be a big boy

I agree no heat at night. They need to cool down at night. It’s good for their health.

Squirt is getting big! Do you know how. Ugh he weighs? How often do you feed him? I just went to everyother day.

No..lol...it gets around 70 ish in the winter too. I totally forget that they are cold blooded and don't need heat all of the time .

I have to get a food scale....I still haven't gotten one We feed him every day....6 crickets, 5 small super worms, 6 small bsfl & 3 silkworms....is that too much? I don't want to overfeed him

Gosh, all of Jann's babies are so good looking. Unfortunately my Moe passed right after she got rid of them all. However, I have a surprise coming in the next few months. I can't wait!
