I checked fl chams and couldnt see it just wanted to know if it was safe?

Sweet to the nose, not to the tongue

Night Jasmine is _Cestrum nocturnum_ and is a shrubby member of the nighshade family, Solanaceae. It is certainly poisonous, and may be dangerously toxic. I'll check my references when I'm home and edit with more info.

Edit: The berries are a cause of numerous poisonings; especially those of C. parqui, but also C. nocturnum. Leaves cause a strange kind of poisoning in cattle in South America that results in a calcification of the heart and other organs due to a steroidal glycocide. Other dangerous compounds include very high levels of nitrates, calcium oxalates, scopalamines, and alkaloids of the nicotine group. Best to avoid this in or near animal habitats.
