Newer to the chameleon society. Panther Chameleon sick?

My male panther chameleon is just under 8 months old and has been in my care for about 2 months now. He has been doing great up until recently. He’s usually extremely bright colored but now he’s a dark grey almost black very dull colors. I had taken him to the vet and they found worms and parasites. They treated him for his worms and gave me medicine for the parasites. I gave him that for 7 days every 24 hours. Yesterday was the last day for his medicine and he still seems to appear really dark. Darker then he’s been. He has been eating and drinking. I feed him dubia roaches, super worms, crickets, and occasionally horn worms. I mix it up so he doesn’t get board. We just changed his cage with an umbrella plant with bamboo and vines going through out the cage. Every day I’ll keep his cage door open and let him do his thing. He will come out and roam on his own. I watch him and he will come to my hand. I use a 100wtt basking bulb for during the day along with a 5.0 uvb lighting. At night I use a red bulb that’s 60wtt. I wanna get some info before I take him back to the vet.. my last vet visit came to $170 and I don’t have that right now. I have a picture from about 2 weeks ago, he’s pretty bright and the next two were taken now of how dark he is. He’s dark, the picture doesn’t show any justice. Any suggestions??

He shouldn't have the red light at night it stops them from getting good sleep. If your house is colder than 50˚F(10˚C) then you can use a ceramic heat emitter that doe not give off light for heat at night.
He may be reacting to the medicine for worms I would see how he is now that he's had his last dose. You can always just call the vet and ask questions without going in and see what they say.

Cool thanks I’ll have to try not using the red light. My room stays around 70-75 degrees Fahrenheit at all times. I called the vet but they haven’t called me back.
