Newbies! :)

Hehe I'm also soooo curios of my tipe....the more I learn the more I am thankful for having them!
I just need to get pin heads, and really soon as well...luckily we have some nice pet shops around us...
Should there bodies feel cold al the time?

Do they feel cold? I wouldn't have thought that, considering the temperature is as you said... No They should feel warm... Maybe they do need that heatlamp. I'd buy one anyway, who knows when you'll need one. You could take them out sunbathing so they feel warm.
At night they don't need any kind of lamps, so at night it's okay if their temperature is lower.
 
Thought I would say hello. I am a newbie as well. Cami was my Christmas Present from my husband. Excited to be a part of this forum and have found A LOT of useful information here already. Cami just had his first shed. That was neat to see. He is a baby Veiled.

Well yeah I'll just check tomorrow because it's 11:42 now,so otherwise I will try too get them warm...

Okay, do that :)
And before I forget, I need to tell you this, I was not warned it advance, that UVB lights need to be changed every half a year, even if it works (it does not emit the proper rays so basically it's like a simple lamp, and who knows what else it emits instead...)

Yes you can get those in the plant store I think, ficus for sure. It'd be better if you kept only the misting, the entire place and especially the leaves of the plants when you get them.
Temperature is good, they don't need anything more than 27-28 Celsius. So you won't really need a heat lamp I think.
Taking them outside to get some sunlight is great, tgat way they get the heating and UVB together, but you need to be careful not to overheat them. Maybe when they're this small they don't realise when it's too much. They start gaping usually when they're too hot, so you'll realise it normally... Also you'd expect them to change colors when basking.

Yikes, MoyaChan, you haven't a clue what kind of chameleons this person has and you are giving humidity/temperature ranges and a supplemental schedule???? If I followed your advice for my chameleons, they would be an absolute mess at best or dead. Not every chameleon needs the same environment. Some like it really cool with no basking light, and 74F in the warmest part of their cage can stress them because it is too hot for some species. If I were to blindly follow your supplemental schedule I would have every one of my chameleons, save the Veiled, with huge edemas that would take months--months--to correct.

I can't emphasize enough, MoyaChan , please, please don't give advice when you really don't know. I know you are only trying to help, but the wrong advice could kill or make these animals sick. A panther lives in a completely different environment than a Veiled which is completely different from a montane species found on a mountain at 3000 or 4000 meters.

To the original poster, please post really good pictures with size reference and any information you learned about their origin when you bought them on the Chameleon Identification forum on this site. There are some serious fanciers and biologists who often can identify species most of us have never even seen or heard of.

You need better pics of your chameleons your profile pic isn't much to go on maybe Flap neck or Carpet Chameleons? some close ups would be good then people could give you better advice on cages and set up.

I use a glass one and I haven't had problems so far. I do see glass enclosures where I live. Just my experience.
 
I was thinking Flapneck or Graceful? Not sure if they exist where you are. My flapneck always turned darker and covered with dots whenever she was basking. That's what that baby looks like. Also, the shape of the head is very similar to those two species
