Im looking into buying a chameleon and i was wondering if anyone had some websites they could suggest, or maybe a breeder in New Orleans or Lafayette.

I live in Florida and had my cham shipped all the way from California. You really can go out of state and they are shipped to you with no problem. I dealt with Kammerflage Kreations. They deal with Panthers though, if that is what you are looking for. They do not sell Veileds. They are a sponsor on this website. The owner is wonderful to work with! I would highly recommend them!

I would recommend a MALE veiled,
but I know alot of people that have started with a panther.
Wether you choose a veiled or a panther make sure its a male first.
Females are more delicate and lay eggs wether or not theyre mated.

Well veiled chams do better for noobs, they are a little bit tougher, and the price is really good so if something happens which I hope it won't, you won't lose out

Panther chameleons and veiled chameleons are both known for being hardy species. Jackon's chameleons are also chameleon species easier to care for. If you do however get a Jackon's chameleon, make sure it is older than 3/4 months as the younger ones tend to sometimes drop dead for no reason. For your first cham I would highly suggest one of these three species.

@carl5208, im think of ordering from them, but i was just wondering how you pay. do you pay in full and he just reserves you one until there ready, or do you pay half to reserve and the other half when hes ready, or somethin like that
