Good morning... How early should I mist my chameleons habitat? It's been kinda chilly here in the morning so I was just wondering how early is too early?

When lights go on, and then 3+ more times a day for 5-10minutes at least IMO

Great thanks... Also when is good time to turn on lights since I don't have an automatic timer. I've been researching a lot but everyone seems to do it at different times.

Try to frame it around sunrise and sunset in your area so that it is on for a total of 12 hours a day. I have my auto mister start 30 minutes after the lights come on so the cage is already warming.

yes... timers are a life saver! i got one from home depot that had two plugs for my UVB fixture and basking lamp. it was $4! definitely worth it

Yes definitely invest in a timer and eventually a mister. When I first got my cham I was ok with waking up at 730 to turn lights on and mist. That was mostly because I had to get up for work around that time but as soon as my weekends hit it felt like torture to wake up to turn the lights on and such. After that first weekend I went out and bought a timer for the lights and got a automatic mister lol
