Hi-
I am Katrina and we just got a female Veiled Chameleon after waiting for many years to do it! We have read the books and done the research but we are firm believers that talking to other owners is the way to go!
We adopted her from craigslist and she is a sweetie!
Can't wait to check the board out for lots of helpful info! I am sure we will be posting lots of questions as well in order to ensure she stays healthy and happy!

Awesome, I dont think we found that info page on them yet! We have had books on chameleons for years. My husband wanted one desperately when we lived in Florida so its been 13+ years. We are finally at a stage in our lives that we felt we could do it justice.
We have been checking out websites/pages the past week trying to figure out what to do with her enclosure!

I will get pics of her!

Hi just joined myself i have a male he looks exactly like your female.. i called him Tarzan loves to swing from his plants Welcome
i do have one question if any1 can shine some light on it...
He keeps climbin on his plant to the top of the tank.. & has his lil hands all over the roof.. like he is tryin to touch the light that is on the outside.. its funny.. he looks like he is doin jazzy hands.. shakin em at the light.. any clue?? or have a just a mad one ha ha thanks x

How old is she? Do you have a laying bin yet? They can lay eggs with or without a male being around.

We live in Portland, Oregon now! Sorry..... we got married and hubby was in Air Force. We got stationed in FL. for 5 yrs. Then he went to Korea and I went home to Calif. to parents with 2 babies in tow. Then we did 2 yrs stationed in NM before we got out and moved to Portland. We have been here 9 yrs. now and are here to stay. I am a SAHM who runs a daycare out of her home. We homeschool my 2 boys as well, so Karma has people around all day to ensure her every needs are cared for!
We are also parents of 2 cats, 1 ancient chihuahua, 9 chickens, a pacman frog, and for our science we have a mealworm tank, an earthworm tank, an ant farm and will be raising caterpillars in 2 weeks.
We were in Melbourne, FL. when we lived there! If it wasnt for both of our parents and the importance of my boys being around them we would SO move back..... we miss Florida.....
