Newbie egg laying Cham. + vet visit

My beautiful chameleon Pascal is between 8-12 months old. I noticed last week a decrease in appetite & less movement than normal. I started researching nesting boxes but I need some help I’ve attached her current enclosure.

Just went to the vet $300+ later i was right. She’s got eggs for sure.
The vet wanted to charge me $600+ additionally for her to stay at the vet until Tuesday. If she didn’t lay them she then wanted to up the bill to $1700+ to remove and spay

I’d like to give this my best attempt at home. She has quit eating at the point (Body weight is fine) and the vet just wants to supplement calcium for her. Thoughts & suggestions? PS I’d love some cage size upgrade suggestions.

i am not use all of the correct words but she does have a standard UVB bulb a woman helped me pick out who owns a cham. I normally give her gut loaded crickets

Is your uvb a compact bulb or a long tube? So, you haven’t been giving any supplements?

They just came out to the car here is what they gave me

both need to be suspended in h2o and given orally.

The bulb i believe would be compact.

I‘m afraid that if you haven’t been providing daily supplementation and have a coil uvb, your cham may be too calcium deficient to lay the eggs on her own. I am not a vet nor am I terribly experienced...this is just my opinion. However, I am going to ask @kinyonga to give her much more experienced opinion. If in the meantime, you could answer the help form questions it would better help you and Pascal. If you can also post some more pictures of Pascal, that would be also help.

Chameleon Info:

• Your Chameleon - The species, sex, and age of your chameleon. How long has it been in your care?
• Handling - How often do you handle your chameleon?
• Feeding - What are you feeding your cham? What amount? What is the schedule? How are you gut-loading your feeders?
• Supplements - What brand and type of calcium and vitamin products are you dusting your feeders with and what is the schedule?
• Watering - What kind of watering technique do you use? How often and how long to you mist? Do you see your chameleon drinking?
• Fecal Description - Briefly note colors and consistency from recent droppings. Has this chameleon ever been tested for parasites?
• History - Any previous information about your cham that might be useful to others when trying to help you.

Cage Info:

• Cage Type - Describe your cage (Glass, Screen, Combo?) What are the dimensions?
• Lighting - What brand, model, and types of lighting are you using? What is your daily lighting schedule?
• Temperature - What temp range have you created (cage floor to basking spot)? Lowest overnight temp? How do you measure these temps?
• Humidity - What are your humidity levels? How are you creating and maintaining these levels? What do you use to measure humidity?
• Plants - Are you using live plants? If so, what kind?
• Placement - Where is your cage located? Is it near any fans, air vents, or high traffic areas? At what height is the top of the cage relative to your room floor?
• Location - Where are you geographically located?

Please post a photo or two of the whole chameleon.
Also please get an egglaying container in her cage ASAP...now..right away. It needs to be opaque and at least 12" X 12" X 10" deep filled with washed playsand that is moist enough to hold a tunnel.

Who give you the crnivore care and the calcium liquid?
Did the vet not give her a shot of oxytocin?
