Cage Info:

* Cage Type - mesh/glass terrarium 2x2x3 ft. the glass is on the sides and the top, front and back are mesh. i was using a much smaller glass tank for a day which i think is why its taking her time to adjust to her new home.
* Lighting - i use a basking spot lamp 50 watt and a reptisun 5.0 lamp for her calcuim
* Temperature - the temp is high 60's low 70's at the top of her terrarium and lower is lower 60's. shes is younger and ive heard babies dont need to be too hot, but im getting her a heat mat soon.
* Humidity - i dont really know what to do to give her humidity besides giving her a little shower in the bathroom, ive done that a couple times but i dont like taking her out of her home too often.
* Plants - no lives plants yet, im going to the nursery today as well
* Location - i have her cage in my bedroom next to my computer(which i am not even on every day), made sure shes away from my drafty window so shes got lots of privacy

Chameleon Info:

* Your Chameleon - ive had Charlemagne my female veiled since sunday. i am not sure how old she is but im assuming shes 3/6 months old
* Handling - i handled her when i first got her a bit but besides that i am trying to let her adjust to her new environment so i havnt handled her besides moving her from the glass tank to her terrarium.
* Feeding - i have fed her waxworms so far, 3 or 4 a day because she doesnt seem to go after her crickets which are fed broccoli and lettuce and dusted. i know she eats a couple a day but im not worried its enough. even when theyre basking with her at her spot lamp she doesnt eat them. im thinking they might be too big for her because she hisses a lot when theyre up there with her.
* Supplements - i dust with mega 5 plus before i place the crickets in her cage but like i said, she doesnt eat too many so they end up just running around her home
* Watering - i mist her in the morning a little after she comes up to her light and heats up. i use a spray bottle about 5 or so pumps at a time for like 2 minutes. throughtout the day i dont spray her too much but ill give her a good misting an hour or so before her lights go off. i rarely actually she her drinking the "dew"
* Fecal Description - shes never been tested as ive only had her for a few days. her dropping have varied from when i forst got her to brown but now they are more beige
* History - not much history :( she came from a cage with one other famale and one male.
* Current Problem - my last post was kind of a little scare, as shes doing better after her first couple days in her new home. i'm basically just worried now about her cricket eating and if my method of watering her is good and her heat. i may take her back from where i got her even thought im attached already, as shes is female and my first cham, i dont want to stress her out too much or worry about egg laying, so i may try to find a male.

Heat mats are not for chameleons. Accurate thermometers are. Hopefully you are using a digital thermometer. Too cold a temperature can lead to lack of eating and lethargy. You should have a basking spot in the low 80's. Since you cage top is glass, I am curious as to how you have your lights set up. Uvb will not pass thorugh glass or plastic.

julirs- the top is mesh lol i typed that wrong i have the uvb light going across the top and the basking lamp at the top on one corner. what else can i do to get the temp up a little bit? i thought about putting a towel on one side of the mesh to keep some of the heat in there but besides that im kinda stumped.
bocajan- i mist her in the mornings a few minutes after her lights are turned on and an hour or so before they are turned off. also ill give her a couple sprays during they day but not too much, does she need more, or less watering? i'm not sure. i am located in souther california by the beach. the temps outside lately have been more chilly like low 60s so im glad you asked because i was wondering how the outside temp affects her.

overall my main worries are temperature and humidity, and i am just not ok with the low amount of crickets she eats.

also what are the optimal plants i should get for her? all her plants as of now are fake and i dont like that.
