I am in the early process of getting ready to own a veiled chameleon, and I am trying to get a decent setup going for when I decide to purchase one. I have read a lot on this site and have come up with this as a tentative list so far:

Cage:
FLCHAMS 24"x24"x48" Screen Cage

Light Source Housing:
Zoo Med ReptiSun T5 HO Terrarium Hood, 24" L

Light Source:
Zoo Med ReptiSun 5.0 UVB T5 HO Lamp, 24w, 22" L

Heat Source Housing:
Zoo Med Deluxe Porcelain Clamp Lamp with 5.5-Inch Dome, Black

Heat Source:
Zilla 09909 Day White Light Incandescent Bulb, 75-Watt

Lighting Timer:
Chicago Pneumatic/Electric Digital Timer

Thermometer:
Nubee Temperature Gun Non-contact Infrared Thermometer
Zoo Med Economy Analog Dual Thermometer and Humidity Gauge

Water/Humidity:
Zoo Med Little Dripper
Spray Bottle

Live Plant:
Golden Devils Ivy - Pothos
Plant (non-toxic) that will fit planter below

Supplements:
HERPTIVITE Multivitamin for reptiles
Zoo Med Reptile Calcium with Vitamin D3
Zoo Med Reptile Calcium without Vitamin D3

Decor:
Various real branches
2 Fluker's Repta Vines - Pothos
Magnaturals Jungle Vine Terrarium Decor Bridge
Magnaturals Medium Planter Ledge Granite

Since I have no experience with any of these products, does anyone have any recommendations on things I should change or add?

Thanks for the help!

Looks like you have most of your bases covered! Make sure to get a calcium with NO d3. That should be used at every or most feedings and the d3 calcium can be used a couple of times a month. Good to see you are doing your research before your chameleon arrives!:)

Welcome to the forums. This is a great place to learn about chameleons. It is so nice to see people here doing their research before that get a chameleon. Kudos to you! I'm attaching my blog for new keepers and it has what you will need to get started with links to pictures and where you can buy each item. Most supplies that you need for chameleons can not be found in local pet stores and you will need to order on-line. You will need to modify your list a little. Hopefully you will be able to return a few items.

Welcome! I am also fairly new, and always learning everyday, but a house bulb works just as well as a heat bulb, and costs a whole lot less;)

There is plenty on this site to learn from, I check the forums for new info all the time! Its a great place to be apart of :D:D
