New Veiled Habitat - Need opinions

so I dont know why she wont go there

how can I attach the hose to this pan through the hole I drill -- should I use hot glue, caulk, what?

also I currently have black plastic liners on the back and left panels to help keep it humid... whats the odds of mist/runoff on those liners landing on the floor?
She will not eat either... im not sure if its just jitters or what -- I have food in a clear deli cup hanging in the cage for her to eat from but she has not touched it.

She is still getting used to her space and with all the adjusting you are trying she probably isn't using all her space right now. She'll go there if she needs to.

You can use adhesive caulk or maybe aquarium silicone sealer to seal your drain fitting. Let it cure completely before putting any pressure on it or moving it. Nice thing about this stuff is you can add more later over cured areas if you find a leak.

What does the cage rest on? Can you lay some type of plastic cover down under the cage to protect the surface from overspray? Same thing for the floor...get your spraying set up and test how much overspray you'll get by laying some newspaper down...and check it for water.

I'm sure she's just stressed from all the changes. Make sure the deli cup isn't too small or in plain view. Little chams sometimes don't like to shoot into small containers or shoot when they feel exposed. They may think they can't actually "reach" the feeder, they may hit the sides of the container instead, or there are too many feeders moving around and sort of mesmerizing them. Hard to isolate one to shoot at. I prefer putting feeders in a larger plastic storage box underneath or wedged into the plant foliage instead. The cham can climb down to the rim of the box, watch the feeders move around, and shoot when ready.

Hey guys thanks for more input

I will be buying a IR thermometer using some funds I have in my ThinkGeek.com account item http://www.thinkgeek.com/gadgets/electronic/8024/

I think it will be a good investment to use with my Snake and Cham as well as other work I do on electronics etc..

Her basking temperature stabilized at 92F at the highest point reachable so I think SCORE on that one LOL good temp there

a bit below it goes to 82 then u can go even lower into the foliage to get even cooler

so I think temps are good - Humidity looks good too I have not checked it Inside the cage yet but its 42% right on top of the cage which would mean even more humid inside I will check shortly

as for her feeding cup please view the new images of her setup below url

Where u see the black temp probe actually jumped to 93F now -- so still good on that high point for basking

ok - ive got a good IR thermometer and checked her temps

her cage ambient temp was 70-78
she stays in the basking zone where it reads 80F
if she climbs higher she can get to a 86-90 hot spot

and lower in the plants it gets to 68-70F so im sure she has proper temperatures

i raised an end of the container up to allow water to pool at the far corner -- I will let her adjust to her cage for a week or so before I go in and drill a drain hole and attach a hose to this container -- I need to let her adjust so she will start eating

but so far I think she will be fine -- I just need to keep the plants alive now and keep water from standing all the time

Also should I take the plastic lense cover off my light fixture? doesnt this cover block UVB Rays from hitting her and the plants?

let me know
Thanks
