New Veiled Chameleon

Hey I need some help... I've had my male veiled for 6 months. He's been randomly going to the bottom of his enclosure... I want to know if that's ok? Or if I should be worried.. He is eating less then normal but he's just finishing up a shed... Could it possibly be because of his shed that he's weak and eating less? Please help with anything you can!!!

How long has he been doing it? Is the enclosure big enough? He might have decided he's outgrown it. Can he bask above eye level?
