I will suggest to leave some space in between your top cage screen n ur plant,(drop it down a bit for safe distance)im assuming u are getting a younger veiled cham, and they do like to climb upside down on the top screen where ur basking light located, just to prevent a burn accidents.

I have a branch 8in. from the light's, flchams says the one im getting is 3-4 months old. 2'-2'-4' cage should be good?

Yes,I appreciate ur understanding :)
The Branches i added to the enclosure are pinned to the sides of the screen, he'll still be able to climb up to the top, I'll just have to take the uvb light and raise it up right? How many inches should i move it so he'll still get the uvb rays he needs?
Thanks for your help....

U can do it either way ...branch or the lights ,it will depend on the brand of ur uvb bulb n how old is the history when u first installed it ,usually is 8inches deep but it really all depends .

Most UVB bulbs don't give off enough heat to cause burns it's the basking bulb you need to watch out for you want UVB bulb as close as possible to ensure he gets UVB it dose not penetrate that deep into cage
