New Veiled Chameleon

Hello, i just got a veiled chameleon about 5 days ago and i had some questions. I wasnt told the age of my chameleon or the gender. I looked on the back of its feet and im pretty sure i saw spurs but im not certain. Its body is about 2"-3" from head to butt if that helps anyone to be able to tell me his age. I have a 18"-18"-36" cage and was wondering if that is big enough for when my cham is fully grown. I currently do not have real plants in its cage but will get some soon(was wondering what were some of the better plants to get for it). i mist the cage 2-3 times a day for about 2 minutes, is that enough? I was also wondering how much to feed my cham. I currently give it 3 dusted crickets in the morning and 3 at night, (i just read giving at night isnt good so i will be giving 3 around 7am and 3 more around 4pm). Also i was wondering if anyone could tell me if strawberries are ok to feed a cham every once in a while, if not what is something better i can get from my local store to give to it.

My cham is sleeping right now so i dont have pictures, but i will post some ASAP. Any other advice yall have would be great.

Thank you

Mirror Mirror on the wall, how old is the veiled baby for the smokejoker pet???
Mmm,Mirror just told me to tell you to take some pics,so we can give you an estimated guess,if thats ok with u:)

I didn't realize I could post the pictures I have in my phone gallery. I thought I had to put them on a computer first.

Those pics aren't any help, get a close up of the back of the back feet. If you want an estimate of the age put the cham on a ruler so we can see it's size.

I think he or she is in love with the screen right now,my friendly suggestion to u is putting some more branches so he or she wake up tomorrow wont have a cold steel screen belly for tomorrow night too,and you can easily get a better pic when he or she is awake in the morning, until then have a goodnight :)

I will get better pictures tomorow, if you could answer some of my other questions that would be great. I really love my cham and want to make sure I'm doing everything right.

I have a nice big branch is the cage that my cham sits on during the day but he or she always goes to sleep near the top of the cage. I think it's because in the morning when I put the crickets in they always climb up the screen so it's like my cham is waiting up for them to eat.

Veileds should be fed a mainly insect diet of things like crickets, dubia roach, superworms, silkworms, etc. Adults should be offered veggies (mainly greens) as a supplement to their mainly insect diet.

Veggies good for reptiles include (but are not limited to) the following:
collard greens
mustard greens
dandelion greens
escarole
endive
carrot greens
green beans
hard squashes
parsley

Fruits and veggies can be fed sparingly:
spinach
romaine
kale
carrots
honeydew
canteloupe
strawberry
grapes
apple

Iceberg lettuce and avocados should be avoided completely!
And if u can,get the organic one ,its much better.

Thank you for the list of what I can give my cham as an every once in a while treat. Do you have any suggestions on plants and is it true that pothos is poisonous?

Gee do u want me to bring u a couple coffee while u question me one after another...last time i got that many question was when I not intentionally speeding with the state trooper on my back.
The non golden pothos is what I can suggest, but ficus probably be a better choice, now can we chat tomorrow, cause I sleep when all my pets sleep, have a goodnight Mr smokejoker:)

I just woke up and I got ur pm from lastnight,no worries,Im not mad or frustrated with you,it just my precious quite time sleep its a luxury wish I can ever get in this house, cause once all my pets are awake,it will turn this place upside down like a rock concert that you wont even believe:)

I have a big ficus tree, an umbrella tree, pothos and hibiscus. My Cham loves her hibiscus, so I got 3 of them for her to crawl on and she will eat the leaves now and then.

I have quite similars to MissMaisie. A hibiscus, a ficus, a schefflera and a yukka. Planning on getting a pothos too and maybe a baby's tears, I've just read it's also good.

Oh and judging from the colors and the casque he/she is quite small so I'd give more food than that. As far as I know they should eat as much as they can when little...
