New UVB light...have i got it right.....or wrong?

Hi guys....i will be replacing the coil UVB 2:0 light in Trixxis' cage with a tube 5:0 18inch bulb....is this increase in UVB ok??will post pictures on Friday as this is when the new lights will be up and running,cheers for any feedback XX

Do you know what brand you are getting? All bulbs are not created equally. 5.0 reptisun by ZooMed is what I use and then 10.0 on my larger enclosures.

What size enclosure do you use a 10.0 in I have 2 24x24x48's that have 2 5.0 on the top of them repti suns

yes a 5.0 18" tube (whether its reptisun (preferred) or reptiglo(still okay)) should be fine. What is between the tube and the chameleon? How far from the tube will the chameleon typically be when basking or on near branches?
