I just got a new cage 18w x 18l x 36 t.
I went and got an Umbrella Plat that showed on the safe list for Chameleons.
All is well but the plant is approximately 34 inches tall and the lower plant pretty much fills up the cage.
Maybe a little to much. Chameleon immediately loved it and is staying in the middle where it is dark and damp.
I mist cage and these waxy leaves create dropping water with no problem. I saw him drinking from them.
Issue is one I will not be able to see him very well and if the plant keeps growing it is going to fill up the whole cage. Does anyone know if I can just cut it to fit, thin it out a bit and keep cutting the new growth to keep it under control. I looked at the Pothos with a pot and stick support in the center and that might work well.
I really do like the umbrella plant so I would like to keep it if I can manage it.
Thanks
