Hello,

My name is Carmen and I live in Alberta, Canada.

I have been poke'n around here on and off for a while. I currently have a variety of animals. I have a baby green iguana, a bearded dragon, 2 veiled chams (female is in the process of laying eggs, she has not been mated as I just got her 2 weeks ago), 3 adult corn snakes, 4 baby corn snakes, 1 ball python, 2 dogs and a rabbit.

on my wish list is some pygmy's hopefully in the near future, these little guys facinate me.

I have had my male cham for a couple of years now but I am sure I will be asking alot of questions regarding the female as her being ready to lay eggs is more than I was expecting when I purchased her. Currently I have her in a 68g rubbermaid container with sand and a couple of sticks hoping that she has them soon. My worse fear is her becoming egg bound. I am definatly open to any help with her.

Carmen, it is so nice to have you on board! You will find alot of great advise and alot of silly fun on this site. Great bunch of people here. Welcome to our addiction!

yes and no. she is spending all of her time since late last week at the bottom of the cage she came with. i tried putting in a container full of play sand, but she paid no attention to it. I moved her last night to the rubbermaid container so she has no options to dig anywere else. I am a little stressed over this as I did not expect her to be full of eggs, the previous owner didn't tell me that part. I figured it out myself the day after I brought her home while doing some research.

I do have another questions, Can their nails be trimmed? my male is very small nails that are very thick, she has very very long thin nails that seam to interfear with climbing, she is constantly falling off her veins.
