Hello everyone, my name is Michael, and I have joined this forum originally to obtain more information on these wonderful creatures. Hopefully a month from now i will be able to own a Veiled Chameleon and i cant wait. Everyday i am always checking for new information on how to take care of them and what other people do to their Chameleon. Anyways i do have one question in mind and that is, The Reptile Super Show is approaching fairly quickly and I have never been to one. I assume there will be all kinds of reptiles there and all different types of people/vendors as well. At these kind of events, i also assume you can buy stuff from the vendors. Normally are these items cheaper than what you would find at a store or an online site? Due to a limited budget i am looking for pretty much a Cage, light/light fixtures, and maybe a bit more for less than 150. I am pretty sure that is very possible, but has anyone had any experience at these places? Again i am a newbie to all this so i am sorry for asking such questions.

Btw so sorry for the extremely long intro!

its a hit and miss situation. Online is very competitive with pricing.

Welcome to the forums. A veiled is a perfect choice. ;)

You can get a cheap screen cage all sizes on amazon.com .. That's all I got.. I got an extra large 24 by 24 by 48" screen cage on there for $70

Yes, I have been browsing on amazon and there are some amazing prices! normally the 2x2x4 goes for atleast $90. I am going to get a 16x16x20 first because i plan on getting a baby veiled.
