New to the Cham world

My Cham is 5 to 6 months old can someone give me guide lines on when to give him calcium w d3 when to give him w/o d3 and when to multi vitamin? I hear different options all the time. What's the standard for a veilded

Welcome to the forum Dee. Most veiled owners will tell you to use plain calcium (no d3) about every time you feed. Use calcium with d3 twice a month & your vitamin twice a month. Remember dust very lightly, you do not ever want to see a white cricket.

calcium w/o d3 daily. calcium with d3 twice a month. vitamin twice a month. i learned from another member to write the vitamin and d3 days on my calender. so every wednesday on my calender it switches vitamin-d3-vitamin-d3. and plain calcium all the other days.

Why did the guy at the petstore say calcium w d3 everyother day if he lives indoor. Outdoor use w/o d3. My set up is a cage a reptiglo 10.0 UVB and a 75w moonlight purple bulb and fake vines and leaves and a waterfall on the bottom

yea ur lights are not favorable for that you should get a reptiglo or sun 5.0 and not to sure bout the moonlight but i think a blue bulb 60w and follow the dusting tips that laurie gave you those will fit perfect

People at pet stores usually don't know what they are talking about. I'd get rid of the water fall, you'll have a bacteria breeding ground otherwise. Change your UVB to a 5.0, thats usually the standard. Put some live plants in there instead, your cham will be happier and it'll help the humidity. Last but not least...welcome! Enjoy your cham!

And I'm not sure on your bulb either...75 is too high. I'd say 60 as well.

oh didnt read the waterfall part yea you should go get your money back for that ot change it for a dripper waterfall=no good
