Hi All. I'm new to this forum but belong to the Beared Dragon forum.
I just added a beardie to my pet list of 1 chihuahua, 1 Red footed Tortoise,
1 Painted Conure, 1 Greenwing Macaw, & 100+ Budgies! I raise them.
Have wanted a Chameleon for ages. Was told they are very difficult to
keep. I read the care sheet before joining. Would love to hear ya alls
experiences with keeping them. BTW, I'm from SW MO.

welcome to the forums.

Dont forget to ask questions! even if you think they sound stupid. ask anyway lol

Cool, I grew up in NW Arkansas and SW Missouri before moving out here in '99! Welcome to the forum!

Chameleon care is a lot less work than keeping a Macaw happy, healthy, and socialized. Once you have the basic requirements met, it's not particularly a nail biting experience all of the time. You will definitely need a quiet spot for him that's well out of view and earshot of the birds, especially the macaw. They don't like being around potential predators. Even our two budgies will make our girl nervous when they get loose and fly into the room.
