New to chams! getting male veiled HELP!

Okay so i've done some reasearch, i know diet, crickets, hornworms, silks, pinkies (if large enough) etc. UVA, UVB lighting baskin around 90 degrees and general temp between 80-85 drop 10-15 at night, i know proper supplementation etc. I was just curious as to humidity, and also can i just get one big cage from the get go? any info insight opinions, or feedback would be awesome thanks,

How old of a veiled are you getting? 90 is hot even for an adult

90 would be fine for an adult male, but not for a younger fella. The cage size would depend on the age/size of the chameleon.

Humidity: 40-50% dry, 70-90+ right after misting, and it should hang around 60-70 for an hour or two after misting.

I keep my temps around 75 with a high of 85. Higher then that they keep their mouths open. They don't have the good sense to get cool.

Pinkies are not really a natural food for chams. Pinkies are pretty fatty and calcium poor. Also a big meal to process even for a large veiled.
They are not really attracted to foods that aren't actively moving.

The best husbandry tools you should get include a quality humidity gauge (not the cheapo analog gauges from the usual pet supply), and a non-contact temp gun (check out Tempgun.com). They will save you much anxiety in the long run.

okay, so humidity, how do i control it? like i want to get a fogger, yes? no? and after i mist i understand humidity will rise, im going to get a big dripper..., and i'm looking at the 100 gallon flexarium right from the get go, ya pinkies wasn't exactly in mind i just mentioned it, and im planning on digital thermometers and humidity gauges and I want to get my veiled as a baby

Too big for a baby. A 38 gallon would better suit a baby. I just spray and use a dripper for humidity. You'll have to check for yourself with a digital hygrometer though. I don't like foggers, if you need humidity help THAT bad then get a humidifier.

Regarding humidity...as long as you make sure that the chameleon is well-watered, its not as critical as you may think.
