New to Chams and Introducing myself

So I've had lizards since I was 12 and love them to death. It's been my dream since day one to own a Chameleon but knew I didn't know enough about them nor had the money as a kid.

Life happened since then, marriage, kids, and many things between but one constant is reptiles. I started with anoles, then an iguana. Next was a bearded dragon and she sits here next to me on my desk. Then came the crested geckos. I currently have six with another due in warm weather. The last two years I've been reading what I can about Chameleon husbandry, dreaming and trying to save.

Finally, with my mother's help, it became a reality. Feb. 12th of this year I got a little girl Panther I named Tulip. She's amazing! So beautiful and incredible. My mother then helped me to get a little male Panther but she passed away before she could see him get here. He arrived Feb. 26th. I named him Hicks for her and had him a week before he became stressed from shipping, environment change, being only 2 grams and then going into a shed on top of it. Unfortunately, even with hospital care, he passed too so perhaps he's hanging with mom in Heaven.

Now my goal is to give Tulip the best life I can so I'll be reading all the posts and trying to get ideas to better improve her environment and care and hope to make some new friends. I do hope to get a male Panther someday, but will have to re-save after Hicks and vet bills. I might be kind of a downer for awhile but I am glad to be here.

I am curious how so many of you get things to sit across your cages w/o damaging them and allowing for the weight of the Cham. Such as I see branches perfectly horizontal but can't use suction cups on screen so how do you hook them? And where is everyone finding their bamboo?

Anyway...hi!
