My name is Jason and I would like to get a chameleon, now as the title says I know very little about these creatures. Please can you give me links, tell me and advise me on there care. I am intresested in the Jackson Chameleon, but please help me with what type I sould get.:D

Look around on this site; other useful places are
<http://www.adcham.com/> (very useful general information)
<http://www.lovein.com/JacknJill.html> (nice pictures of Jackson's; not much on captive care).
Check out the site sponsors (top right); most of them specialize in panthers and/or veiled, but you can get some care sheets and information from their websites. Jackson's want it cooler and more humid, on average, than veiled and panthers; otherwise, care is largely the same.

A couple of the books listed in the bookstore portion of this webpage have reasonably large sections devoted to Jackson's; many other more general books will give them at least a page or two. I have an older edition of "Chameleons - Care and Breeding of Jackson's, Panther, Veiled, and Parson's" by G. Ferguson, K. Kalisch, S. McKeown, and have found that book useful; haven't read "Chameleons in Captivity", but have heard good things about it.
