new substrate

Hey all
I have this substrate in my tank called forest moss by exo Terra and it's great I cup feed so no problems. It keeps the humidity high, is small pieces so not really that much of a risk for impaction. Its good because my chameleon slipped and fell once but this seemed to pad his fall. Just thought I would recommend this. I know I will keep using it with chameleons and other jungle reptiles.

I would not risk having any substrate in your chameleon's cage. If you want something to cushion a possible fall plant some safe groundcover type plant. Just because you cup feed doesn't mean your cham is not going to wander around and pick up and eat something he should not.

I'm not trying to start an argument, but as long as you cup feed, I think you're ok. I use ABG mix with my jackson's, and it's great for keeping the humidity high.
