There anything I need to do while she is shedding??

I have a plastic cage for now I have my screen cage on order, plus she was only 6 weeks when I got her and now she is about a month I believe.

Just enjoy it, it's like a new present each time. When they are done, they just get looking better each and every time. They know what to do.:)

Nope! It's perfectly natural, of course. I just clean the shedded skin out of the cage aftewards.

I think some people might mist their chamemeleons to help with removal and I think there's a product on the market that's supposed to be used to help with shed removal but I haven't found doing that necessary with Rico. He's had two sheds since we go him in late October and managed to take care of it all on his own which I think is best. They'd have to do it without assistance if they were in the wild. I suppose if he was really struggling for a long while to get a piece off I'd be tempted to help him but that hasn't happened yet. :)

As the previous poster mentioned, extra mistings are good. Some chameleons hate shedding and they will writhe around on leaves and other things to get the shed skin off. It is important that you don't try to 'help' by picking the shed off as it can hurt the chameleon.

Other than that, just late nature run its course :)

I love watching my little girl shed haha, its so fascinating! My little girl scratches herself to try to get some of the shed off sometimes, and then rubs up against the vines as well. When i see her starting to shed i add another misting session in to help ease her discomfort.
