New set up new to chameleons

I recently bought a pair of Panther chameleons from Epic Chameleons. They are doing very well as far as I can tell the female has shed once and the male is getting some very nice colors. I just thought I would go over my set up and see if I could get and tip or anything I mite have missed. I have need reading this fourm for a long time and have learned A lot. So I bought to dragon strand large breeder series cages and i am very happy with them I would like to get the medium size cage for the female in the future and use the large for another male hopefully. I also go the mist king and it works great I don't think I cou ask for more.There uvb I have the zoo med t5 ho fixtures and they seem to work good. And for heat I have 100 watt bulbs I use a temp gun on them when they are basking and they seem to maintain a 90 to 95° temperature in the hottest spot so I think that is good. I Home a few pothos plants in the males cage I think I am going to do the same in the females cage also but for now there is a way to big umbrella plant in hers. I will post a few pictures soon

Congrats on your new chameleons. How old are they? That's really hot even for an adult. I bask my adult panthers from 85 to 87. You might find my blog for new keepers helpful.

They are about 4 months old . I will check all of those links thank you . I am a bit confused on the temp thing if I put a thermometer in there hot spot it is in the med to low 80s but there skin temp is a lot hotter so i am not sure which is more imported

Thermometer as in what a human uses to check their temperature? I wouldn't measure their skin temp- just the cage at the bottom, middle, top, and basking spot

No not the type of thermometer humans use it was talking about an infrared temperature gun.
