first timer with chameleons. im going to purchase a panther cham, and am currently setting up the cage(24x24x48). i got a live ficus about 30 in tall and a bunch of the fake vines and fake bendy branches. i got uv reptisun 5.0 for light and a ceramic heat bulb 100 watts for heat source. for moisture i got a dripping tube. now a few of questions:
temps and humidity, what should they be?
are the fake plants ok?
am i missing anything?
any feedback is much appreciated. i want to make sure the set up is perfect before getting this animal. thank u.

Read that blog, its great info for starting out.

It sounds like your on the right path . Get the enclosure up and do a few days of dry runs with mistings etc just like you would if a cham was in the enclosure. Check the temp/humidity in various spots in the enclosure, right them down and adjust as needed. You may need to cover the back wall and lower parts of the sides to get the humidity to hold between mistings, and change basking light bulbs 2-3 times get the right temp in your basking spot.

I currently run a 60w incandescent light bulb over my basking spot, I mist 3 times a day for 5 minutes and have the back and 1/2 of the sides covered to keep my humidity between 50-70% with a 3ft umbrella plant in the enclosure.
