New sailfin

I have a new sailfin Cham that likes to sleep a good 75% of the day. Anything I should do?

Unfortunately most Sailfin Chameleons (Trioceros cristatus) are wild caught and they have a difficult time acclimating into captivity. They are stressed, malnourished, dehydrated and sadly sold to the unsuspecting public. Sleeping during the day is an indictor that s/he is very unwell and at this point and the only way to save them is with medical attention. Home acclimation procedures and remedies usually to do not work at this stage. Seeing a reptile vet is my recommendation.
