Hi all, Shrieks and squeals - I've had my pygs for 3 months or so - I've just found my first ever Pygmy baby- I've found 3 more eggs too, I've taken it out and placed in a seperate viv so I can monitor it- It has melanogaster flies to eat- substrate- moist- as for the adults, twigs and plants- The reptile shed is pretty much 24 c so I'm guessing I just leave him alone to settle. Any other advice for a new mum? I've just had a really good look around , can't see any more at the moment but I'm so excited. My first baby ever

He is- He's adorable- little feeties and teeny eyes- so beautiful , all from a little egg, he was plain brown when I found him so that's his scary back off colours, I'll try and get some more pics tomorrow.

Hi there, just spent hours staring into the viv trying to find more and then I look right in front of me and there's one inches away from me,

They are actually bigger than I imagined- the eggs are like peanut sized and the babies are 20mm- tricky- I've heard they can just up and die of fright so I'm leaving them be at the moment- it's all very exciting :):):)

Thanks everyone , thanks for the comments- little guys are out and about feeding this morning.

Hi Joel, Thanks for that- just been pyg hunting but can't see any more at the moment- more to come though. The best thing is knowing these are captive born- yes cbb will be better but although I bought the adults being sold as captive bred I ( we as buyers) don't know for sure- only have the seller to go by- unless I had asked to see some receipts or something from the dealer I couldn't ever be 100% sure. I bought them as cb but in truth I don't know.
All i do know is that here's some that may one day breed and then I have cbb.
Hope you are well and all your animals too. How's that paludarium coming on- when are we going to get some pics ??:LOL:
